Ben ik verzekerd?
Every person living or working in the Netherlands must buy basic health insurance.
The basic insurance covers the standard costs of, for example, the general practitioner, the hospital or the pharmacy. International Flex Job offers its temporary workers a collective health insurance policy with Zorg en Zekerheid health insurer. If you do not want to use the collective health insurance offered, it is very important that you take out health insurance yourself. You are responsible for getting health insurance in the Netherlands. If you have not taken out health insurance in the Netherlands while you are working here, there is a high risk of you being fined by the Dutch government.
It is also possible to continue your health insurance on an individual basis after the end of the temporary employment contract. Should this situation arise and you want more information about this, please send an e-mail to email@example.com.
